Duke Tucker holds campaign kick-off & rally for Wisconsin’s 75th State Assembly District

[Grantsburg, Wis.] – April 18, 2024, Duke Tucker, a Republican from Grantsburg, WI held a campaign kick-off rally at Hummer’s Event Center for his run to represent the newly redrawn 75th Assembly District, which includes all of Polk and most of Burnett County.

Well over one hundred people gathered to hear comments from Representatives Gae Magnafici and Chanz Green, past Rep. Adam Jarchow, Senator Romaine Quinn, Burnett County Sheriff Tracy Finch, St. Croix Falls Mayor Kirk Anderson, retired businessman Gary Nelson, and Duke Tucker.

It was standing room only as attendees heard Duke speak about his campaign being a “continuation of service”, not a career objective. Duke mentioned to the crowd that after serving in Desert Storm he moved back home to raise a family in the community that raised him. Now after nearly 30 years of serving the Grantsburg area community in many ways, he now looks to serve the whole 75th Assembly District with the same energy and commitment.

Duke fielded a number of questions and shared the deep family ties he has all through Polk & Burnett County. Duke plans to be all over the 75th District knocking on doors and attending various meetings, noting that the public is tired of negative campaigns in general and want someone who’ll work hard for them in Madison in representing our “up north” family values along with fiscal responsibility, ethics, common sense, education that leads to self-sufficiency and employment, community safety, and less government bureaucracy.
